So the 1st day of our Tahitian cruise…we took a ’safari tour’ of the island of Huahine with several other passengers…I, of course, had on a Smalwaukee tee….sitting across from us, one of the pax asked me if ‘Smalwaukee' had anything to do with Milwaukee!! why, yes it does! well, Diane Burden Taylor grew up in Milwaukee (now in CA & NV) & still has family there!! We proceeded to have fun cocktails & dinners with our new friends, Diane & her husband, Tom!! …small world = Smallwaukee!!

When I was in college, I would frequent a local coffee shop. The same barista would always make my order and began to recognize me when I came in. Out of state on a vacation in North Carolina, a friend and I were attending a convention. We met fellow fans while waiting in line to have our photos taken at a panel, nerding out and sharing stories of our favorite comics with each other. After having the absolute best time waiting for hours in this line, we started discussing where each of us were from. To our surprise, these people were from Milwaukee!
